講座内容
In this course, we will explore the adventures of a prominent figure in Izumo mythology: Ōanamuji. This deity undergoes a dramatic transformation—from a young, inexperienced deity to the “Great Lord of the Land,” Ōkuninushi. Along the way, he faces numerous ordeals, first at the hands of his many brothers, and later through the harsh trials imposed by Susanoo, his future father-in-law.
Ōanamuji’s story can be viewed as a variant of the "hero’s journey" myth, as described in comparative mythology. In these sessions, we will examine this type of framework while highlighting the unique features of the Japanese narrative as portrayed in the Kojiki. We will also present insights from recent research conducted by the “Kojiki Studies” project at Kokugakuin University.

スペイン生まれ。
2016年パリEPHE(現在PSL)大学東洋学部博士課程修了。
横浜市立大学・静岡県立大学非常勤講師。國學院大學古事記学センターの客員研究員。
専門:
上代文学、スペイン語教育。
翻訳家としても活動(日本語、フランス語、英語)。
博士論文の『上代日本における「コト」概念の意味と機能』により
2017年フランス日本研究学会(SFEJ)の「Okamatsu Yoshihisa賞」受賞。
Born in Toledo, Spain. After graduating in Science at the University of Madrid, I received a two-year scholarship for research in Japan. However, during that period, I developed a deep fascination for the country and its culture. Upon my return to Europe, I decided to immerse myself in the study of Japanese history and literature, a journey that ultimately led to the completion of a Ph.D. in Ancient Japanese Myths at EPHE in Paris. At present, alongside my role as a language teacher at YCU, I am engaged in a project to create a new annotated English translation of the Kojiki at Kokugakuin University.
