講座内容
This term's machizukuri class is about what fulfills us, who we admire and where the world is heading geopolitically. It is a platform for sharing concerns, and sharing hints on how we ourselves can contribute to mini solutions to machizukuri and our own evolving lifestyles. We research past historical figures as well as other countries. Through group discussion, we listen to each other, imagine different points of view in role play and make presentations. The teacher prepares topical texts to start off each week’s theme.

※配布資料は中上級レベルです。予習・復習の時間をとれることが望ましいです。

- Ｃａｔｈａｒｉｎｅ Ｎａｇａｓｈｉｍａ 横浜市立大学元非常勤講師
- Born in London, raised in Wales, graduated in geography from University of Wales Aberystwyth, postgraduate studies in Grenoble, France. Worked at Athens Center for Ekistics, Greece. Partner at AUR Architecture, Urban Design, Research Consultants until 2016. Former part-time lecturer at Kanagawa University and Yokohama City University, currently teaching YCU Extension Course.Member of Advisory Board of Online Journal Ekistics and the New Habitat.
